We introduce superhero mythology to unleash the inner hero of children suffering acute abuse.
Our mission fills the toy closet, food pantry, and clothing wardrobe to the children and their families.
This takes the burden off the center so they can focus on healing the child from the trauma they've endured.

Proceeds from the event support the City of Chandler Family Advocacy Center to care for victims of child sexual abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
All makes and models welcome! Muscle Cars, Pony Cars, Sports Cars, Hot Rods, Street Machines! Let's do this!
PARKING:
The show site is the main parking lot for the City of Chandler Police Department. Follow the signs and look for two by God awesome Dodge Challengers (one in Go Mango and one in Frostbite Blue) near the registration table.

For the 6th Year running, Put on the Cape and PLEA Charities presents the Superhero 5k! The featured hero is Spiderman!
Returning to Friendship Park in Avondale, the event is part of the annual "Kid Fest" and is open to families of all ages.
Participants are encouraged to dress like any character from the "Spider-verse!"
Proceeds from this event support the Southwest Family Advocacy Center serving Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear, and MCSO. The center is an oasis for victims of child sexual abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence.
Join us for this family event that in its first five years, raised more than $25,000 for the center.
We are proud to serve Child Advocacy Centers supporting:

- Salt River Tribal
- Glendale
- Surprise
- Avondale
- Buckeye
- Goodyear in Arizona
- and The Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center and Children Advocacy Network in Michigan.
Annually, those centers help more than 15,000 victims of child abuse, sexual violence, and neglect as well as domestic violence and sexual assault.
